Bleeding Out

"Tailyn!" Eon yelled. I grip one of his hands with both of my bloody ones. Blood drops run down his arm along with rain. My breathing is ragged and harsh as I struggle to hold him up. "Tailyn, let go." My eyes widen and I shake my head. A few tears race down my cheeks. "No! I can't let you go, Eon." His weight is nearly to heavy for me, I feel the muscles in my arms straining, about to give out. "Why not Tailyn?! Just let me go! You'll be fine, isn't that what you want?! To be free of me and all the other damn pirates after your blood?!" I'm shocked that he still hasn't realized how I feel. I bit my lip, shut my eyes, and scream into the cold night. I just need to scream. "I love you, you fucking idiot! That's why I can't let go your damn hand! I want you, I need you! Even if you are just some damned pirate." This time his eyes widened and a tear runs down his face. "I love you, too. You don't know how long I've waited for this." Then he slips through my bloody fingers and the black waters consume him. ~~~~~~ Tailyn is no ordinary little girl. When her mother dies in front of her very eyes, Tailyn runs. A pirate takes her and keeps her prisoner on the wretched boat, only to be saved by a handsome guy, Eon. However, is he the angel Tailyn believes he is?
