"Tailyn!" Eon yelled. I grip one of his hands with both of my bloody ones. Blood drops run down his arm along with rain. My breathing is ragged and harsh as I struggle to hold him up. "Tailyn, let go." My eyes widen and I shake my head. A few tears race down my cheeks. "No! I can't let you go, Eon." His weight is nearly to heavy for me, I feel the muscles in my arms straining, about to give out. "Why not Tailyn?! Just let me go! You'll be fine, isn't that what you want?! To be free of me and all the other damn pirates after your blood?!" I'm shocked that he still hasn't realized how I feel. I bit my lip, shut my eyes, and scream into the cold night. I just need to scream. "I love you, you fucking idiot! That's why I can't let go your damn hand! I want you, I need you! Even if you are just some damned pirate." This time his eyes widened and a tear runs down his face. "I love you, too. You don't know how long I've waited for this." Then he slips through my bloody fingers and the black waters consume him. ~~~~~~ Tailyn is no ordinary little girl. When her mother dies in front of her very eyes, Tailyn runs. Just like her mother told her. Now Tailyn must fight for her life because she is wanted. For many dark reasons. Tailyn, although clever, cannot avoid capture for long. A pirate takes her and keeps her prisoner on the wretched boat, only to be saved by a handsome guy, Eon. However, is he the angel Tailyn believes he is?

"Can you forget about me...?" I asked him as we stood in the frozen night. He shook his head. I smile, "Well, in that case..." I pause to step back a bit and look up at him. "I'm sorry...," With that, I fall back and into the river. All I could feel was the icey water slowly filling my lungs and then... 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. I never meant for him to fall in love with me. However, when I woke up, I woke up in a white room, "A hospital room...?" I thought to myself. I look around wondering how and why I was here...and then I see him... right next to me. I slightly frowned and tried to get up. He gently placed a hand on my shoulder, urging me to lie back down. I fought against him, trying to get away from him. But he held me firmly, his eyes filled with concern and love. "Please, calm down. You scared me when you fell into the river. I thought I had lost you," he whispered, his voice breaking with emotion. I stopped struggling and looked into his eyes, seeing the pain and fear that I had caused him. I then looked down as I said, "I thought I'd make it easier for you." His face paled. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. I took a deep breath and confessed, "I never wanted you to fall in love with me." I say. He looked at me in shock, his grip on my shoulder loosening. "Why would you say that? Why would you think that would be easier for me?" he asked, his voice filled with confusion and hurt. I closed my eyes, unable to meet his gaze as I replied, "Because I don't deserve your love. I'm not who you think I am." He sat there in silence, processing my words. And then, without warning, he leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips. I pulled away, stunned by his action. "I don't care who you think you are. I love you, for you dumbass," he said.

She wakes up, cold, tired and terrified, chained to a wall in a stranger's basement. Unbeknownst to her, she's now in the hands of someone else so much worse. She finds herself determined to escape his grip in any way possible, even if it means doing what he wants and pretending to like it. And as more time goes on, Max seems to be further taken by her, doing everything to try and mend bridges to get her to stay. But, she can't become complacent; that's how people die. She's found herself deep into the underbelly of life others don't know, where laws are not the same, where people are not the same. Surrounded by a pack of gun runners, thieves and murderers, she starts to question if she could ever go back to her old life. If one is fire then the other one is water, making it next to impossible to meet at one point. Our male protagonist 'Aron' is smitten with our female protagonist 'June', however he doesn't show his emotions fearing that it will make him look weaker. He carries a strict and scary aura around him which makes people think that he is a ruthless person. On the contrary he is quite the opposite from inside. And our female lead carries a carefree nature who doesn't care about anything but herself. She is a savage quick witted person who can do anything for her own survival if required. When these two polar opposites crosses path with, we can expect a lot of drama and action, eventually seeing these fall for each other.
