When Sixteen year old Mackenzie is stuck stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, she has to bring all of her previous Girl Scouts skills back to save her. While individually trying to keep herself alive, she's also trying to find the rest of her family. 

One furry companion keeps her alive. Cocoa, a Chocolate Lab ,found  stranded on the same island she found herself lost on, is great with survival. One problem, he's sick and lost too much weight.
