Scarlett lived in Washington with her always drunk, abusive dad. Her mother died when she was three. After an incident and multiple charges on her father, she is finally saved from that hell hole by child services. For weeks she was in a foster home and then was adopted by a couple.
Now at 17 years old, she thinks of this family as her own and would do anything to protect it. When her dad threatens to take her back and will do anything to get to her, she must find old and new allies to save her new family from the remains of her old one.
