Kara Epps and Carter Devlin have been together two long, faith-changing years. All of a sudden, everything is ripped away and their lives will never be the same. Kara had pulled Carter out of his evil past and can finally be happy in love without worry. Carter is everything she ever hoped for- loving, thoughtful, amusing. But one night, at a football game, Carter disappears. Kara is going crazy with worry and fear- and that's BEFORE she starts to hallucinate Carter's ghost. Carter loves Kara more than anything, and not only because she showed him the light. Carter is captured one night when he gets lost and is brutally murdered. All he can hold onto is Kara. Kara.
