Miyuki Hiragana has always faced trials and tribulations throughout her 15 years of life. She has lost her family at a young age, and recently, her best friend. Through all of her losses, she has been able to overcome her sorrows and use her pain to become stronger. But what if she met someone who has felt a pain worse than she has and has yet to overcome his sorrows? Can she assist him in overcoming his pain and years of psychological suffering? Or will she just add on to the problem and make their situations more tragic beyond imagination?

In the Given series we get to know Mafuyu Sato's tragic past with his childhood friend/lover. This is just my own original character fanfic about a girl that was also his childhood friend. It's a short one shot about love, betrayal and pain. There are triggers about sexual abuse, physical abuse and suicide. Mika Ito is the original character. A young girl who is abused by her father, she meets the boys the same day they meet (ya know what I mean). Her feelings grow for Mafuyu more than friendship and she confesses to him. She will have a typical shinobi family tragedy of losing a beloved family member that mentally scarred her young mind. No transmigration, reincarnation, experimentation, decimated village, or massacred clan. She's a surprisingly normal shinobi that experienced her losses, works to overcome them, and bears fruit from her hard work. How will this "completely normal" kunoichi affect the characters of the Naruto-verse?
