After her best friend died in a fire, 16-year-old Maria Douglas is extremely devastated. However, being the daughter of the mayor of her small town made her friend very well known. Everyone thinking she was there when she died, Maria is the accused culprit. The next day, she is on wanted posters and the award is bigger than any other.
She can trust no one, except for her older brother, who has been her role model since when she was little. Maria then flees with her brother, but people DO notice she is missing, and some leave their own town to find her. All Maria can do is flee and run, never taking refugee anywhere, except when she is the loneliest she has ever been on her flee. She thens takes her friend's death into her own hands, finding the real murderer for herself.
As she gets closer to who the killer is, a new problem appears, and takes a different path.
Can she prove to her fellow townspeople that she is truly innocent, and that she has none of her friend's blood on her hands?

Gray, the son of a army general of the town he loves, sees the situation completely different, that it is just a big misunderstanding, but doesn't plan on telling anyone that. Being around the same age as Maria, his father thinks that he can find her. So him and his uncle go off to find her.
Secretly one night, he goes off on his own to find her, and to his surprise, he does. As he meets her, he realizes that she is not the person that her father and townspeople said about her. He then makes a decision. He is going to make sure they don't find her. Because he knows one thing, if he says anything about seeing Maria, his whole entire town will burn into flames of chaos ,and everyone will be affected by it.
Can he make sure that she isn't found and can he makes sure no flames spread in his beloved town, and makes sure no fire burns.

The Mate (sorry the first three chapters got deleted)
Amy has has the best life, she has good friends, a good parent, and the best boys chasing after her, but when a new guy, zack, comes and moves right across the street her whole life changes. if you want the first three chapters I will summarize them. chapter 1 Amy is getting ready for her date with a boy from the school that she has been wanting to ask in a long time. but he doesn't come and just disappears from the state. when she is waiting she see a moving van pull up and goes to see who's going to be her new neighbors. chapter 2 when Amy gets over to their yard she introduces herself and says that her mom is at work but will come over and meet them when she gets off work. when she gets home she tells her brother Sam about the girl that lives across the street, and he doesn't want to at first but then Amy tells him that she is his age and he jumps up and runs out of the house. then she goes upstairs to her room and calls her friends Lola and Lizzy to come over and they talk about Zack until Amy's mom comes home and she makes a welcoming dinner for them and they take it over to them that day. that's same day Amy starts getting to know Zack better. chapter 3 Zack wakes Amy up and starts talking to her about their date. it may seem like they are going on a date the day after they just met but Zack it persistent and wants to get to know her better, and he wants to get to know her fast. after Zack is done talking to her she tries to go back to sleep but she can't so she takes a shower. after her shower she gets out and finally looks in the mirror and sees her marks that are like fire but the color is black.Complete
Outside the walls
War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. The day of the fight, the state of distinction launched a nuke. Yet they had under estimated the power the nuke had. It destroyed both states and it had seemed that no one remained. 3 years latter and a little city had grown out of the destruction. Emma was a resident of that city. Emma had a different childhood than most. "Go fetch the food!" or "Go get the water!" Were the most of chores she had to do. It was grow up fast or die in her city! On Emma's 17 birthday she would be old enough to go out side of the city walls and look for communication to other parts of the world. They had found a part of a cell tower that would finish off there hand made cell tower and needed a search crew to go get it and bring it back. Emma now being old enough she tried out. She had never been outside the city walls. We're most of the adventures have already gone once or twice. Most people have said that they should not send the youngest age, and they just might be right... because Emotions, Guys, and family are all in her way.Complete
