The Promise of a Pirate

“You drugged me.” She chocked out. Her vision became fuzzy and she started to panic. What would they do to her when she was out? His voice interrupted her thoughts. “You wouldn’t have listened to me if I didn’t.” She tried to squirm away from him, but he kept her in her spot. “Stop trying to leave. You are mine. Don’t forget it love. I will find you, no matter where you hide.” She just stared at him until the darkness consumed her. Emery Sparrow was the daughter of The Duke of Port Ember. She lived the classic life as one as well. Parties, ball gowns, and suitors wanting her hand. It was normal. But that all changed when she fell into the ocean and was rescued by an unlikely person. A pirate. He promises that he will return for her and she will be his. He then leaves her on a beach where she is found. Two years pass and she hasn't heard from him since. Then one night he returns and takes her from her home. He wont tell her what he wants with her. Little does she know, he was hired to take her to an unknown man who will stop at nothing to have her. For she is the key to events yet to come, and everyone wants a piece.
