Olivia's father gets a new job and so her family has to move all the way to California. She leaves her BFF and the home she loves. As she tries to fit in at the beach she meets a boy named Matthew, a sea animal rescuer. They grow closer and watch a abandoned sea turtle nest together. As she finally begins to adjust Olivia falls more in love with Matt. But he soon might have to leave. Will Matt choose to stay with the one he loves? Will Olivia ever adjust or fit in?
