Moonlight

In the beginning there were Six; Alishfatel goddess of Order, Rezic god of Chaos, Alyrisa goddess of Life, Naferan god of Death, Nysarti goddess of the Moon, and Dorsyce god of the Sun. Each gave some of themselves to Creation. But Nysarti grew jealous of the adoration given to her counterpart. In an act of treachery, she murdered Dorsyce and was sealed away by the remaining Four. Imprisoned on the earth she poisoned the land and turned all of her followers into Monsters which roamed the night. In a bid to protect the innocent Alyrisa bestowed gifts to her priestesses to subdue Nysarti's minions. Dorsyce's grieving priests vowed to help her and became Paladins dedicated to the destruction of Nysarti and her followers. That was a thousand years ago. The seal is failing and Nysarti is returning.
