Okay, poems aren't my strong point, haha. This poem seems kind of like a clash of different morals only being linked by the whole "rain" analogy but I'm trying to dabble at songwriting right now so I should probably work on my poetry. I entered this in a national poetry competition for 11-17 year olds my school told me about but I don't know the results of yet. Anyway, hope you like it and if not enjoy the amazing composer, Yiruma, in the video to the side! ^.^

"Almost Green"
Strands of your mind cling together like web to a slippery leaf bathed in the morning dew. You have seen both heaven and hell, witnessed the atrocities of war firsthand, and imagined a better life in the deepest, most intimate corners of your dreaming spirit. The wishes for peace and certainty you have once so desperately longed for, now lay trampled underneath the might of your mind's vivid horrors. What was once so bright and lively, now cowers in fear, clinging to gone memories like a shipwreck survivor to some lowly piece of driftwood. From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least. Trapped in my Worst Novel
Protagonists, the most important characters in stories. They're the ones that are supposed to save the world and be a symbol of hope for humanity, the ones that can defeat anything in their way if they want to, the ones whom the reader wants to win and succeed... ...Well atleast thats how a good heroic protagonist should be. I wrote three novels after dropping out of college at 20 years old. My first novel was a disaster, boring characters, recycled plot, and a protagonist so rude even I wanted to punch them. The next two? Absolutely amazing and really well-liked. I was ready to quit writing for good when i suddenly got hit by a car and woke up in someone else's body, someone i don't recognize at all, who goes to the exact same school from my first novel. Yeah. That happened, i'm screwed. Great. Now I'm stuck in a world full of arrogant, clueless students. Why couldn't i have entered one of my better stories?! And if that's not enough, the soul of this body won't stop yelling at me to "give their body back", as if i could do that, while a tiny version of them sits on my left shoulder and a tiny version of my 19 year old self from my past life rides the right shoulder. What even is happening anymore? Sigh...
Paradise Lost (Novel Adaptation)
An unofficial retelling of the poem based on Biblical creation by John Milton. I got this idea from watching Wendigoon's video on the poem. First of all I think this would be a great script for a movie, but also I want to see if I could tackle it from a book perspective. Also, read the poem if you want to get the full experience. I'm just writing this without the old English vocabulary and delivering it in the best way I can possible without having unnecessary exposition (which works for poetry and not for a book) and compressing the story in that it cuts the fat and gets to the point. I'm also giving some notes on certain names and what they relate to and where Milton gathered these concepts and ideas from. To state it plainly, like Wendigoon, I am a Christian, so I'm not writing this thing lightly because there is reverence to these names that I'm putting on paper, digital paper that is. This is not the beat-for-beat account of the actual creation story, and it should not be taken as such. It's merely an expansion on certain ideas and characters that is a "could be" or a "what if" situation. If you are a Christian reading this, take it with a grain of salt. If you aren't a Christian, maybe this opens up a new thought for you and you become more interested in Christianity (no I'm not forcing anything down anybody's throats). Either way, this is to be seen just as Wendigoon describes: Biblical Fanfiction. So, with that being said, I hope you enjoy this. Hero's Unrequited Lament
This story is based on an ASMR video I listened to one night... YouTube video: "Brainwashed by the Demon King: The Forgotten Hero" by Jouska... and it is based on the "Demon King's" POV. However, as I'm likely and was supposed to do, I put myself in the Hero's POV... and thought she deserved her side to be "heard". This is a departure from my usual HEA ending, so beware... The Demon King dialogue was pulled strictly from the YouTube video. His physical reactions and everything else is from my little brain. Any similarities to individuals real or imagined is completely unintentional. PLEASE do not use this for any other purpose.Complete
Twilight (MHA x M! OC insert)
In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Light... Dark... Dusk... Dawn... Two sides of the same coin... Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out. Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." But never has he gotten even a single drop of it. Trying to cast aside his past, he reincarnated after he died in a cold-blooded war. Still wanting love, affection, and happiness, he now seeks to get it all. In a world filled with magic, monsters, and swords he wants a chance to meet his desires in his second life. Now born as Alexander Hollows, he will create a path full of life... But never has he thought that so many challenges will face him from now on. With the help of the ones he trusts the most, they will discover what actually hides beneath the peace and prosperity of the new world, they will find the shadow that lurks beneath them. As the people around him discover and accept the truth of their own world will they also accept Alex's mysterious past? I'm only a beginner at writing and english is not my first language so please be considerate of my spelling and grammar errors.
