They thought it was rubbish. Junk. Boy were they in for a surprise.

Ruby and her triplet brothers, Leo and James, are only thirteen and were given gifts from their now dead great uncle in his will. (Along with a decent 15 million quid for each of them.)
Leo was given the bag, James, the book and Ruby the time locket.

But by pure chance did they somehow manage to open and get sucked into the portal. With only the bag to help them fit in, a book to tell them what's going on a note from great uncle willy, and the locket to send them where ever it wishes. 

Now they have to try and return home, but by doing so they must fully accept that they are time riders.
Oh and prepare for a long trip.
