Lydia Martin was born with a mental disorder that prevents her from having any emotions.
The disorder is called "Antinomy Misanthropy."

Lydia has lived all 17 years of her life without feeling happy, surprised, embarrassed, angry, sad, etc.

She has never had a normal childhood, her teenage years aren't that great either.
Well, that was until she met Stiles Stilinski.
