Avara is the princess of Aevitas, or whether she was. When she was only eight years old, the castle was attacked, and everyone inside was killed. She never saw her parents or her best friend Will ever again. It's been 10 years since the attack and Avara, who now goes by Vera, has been living on her own. She's had to keep herself a secret. Everyone thinks she's dead. If she were to ever show her wings, they would send her to the castle, to the people that killed her family. Avara is the last known Avariel, an ancient Elven race meant to rule the Kingdom of Aevitas, but what most people don't know, she isn't full Avariel. Her mother was elemental. And what even Avara doesn't know is that her full power is yet to awaken.
