What makes someone a human?

_

When Harry was diagnosed with lung cancer, he had never expected to survive past the first year. As the years passed, hope regained in him until one day he collapsed. With new information of when he is to pass, Harry isn't sure what to do anymore. Giving up was never an option, but life no longer has meaning.

In order to raise his spirits and help out with daily tasks, Harry's friends and family purchase Echo, a helper android with a few quirks that lowered her pricing. She does everything from cooking to cleaning to changing Harry's clothing. It isn't until Harry's parents go on a well needed vacation that he realizes just why Echo was so inexpensive...

One Day Too Late

25 parts Complete

Echo's dead, no doubt about it. She hung a rope and let herself drop. So why is she still here? She's trapped on earth, and the only person who can see her is Jordan, a boy who died earlier on in the year. She's forced to watch her best friend struggle with a burden that killed her. Harmony's had a normal life up until now. She had a great best friend, decent parents, and not that much experience with tragedy. But when she gets the news that her "great best friend" killed herself on a cold, rainy night, her life is completely changed. Suddenly she's a tragedy expert, and if something isn't done she could be the next headline. Can Echo save Harmony, and herself?
