This is the story about two best friends, Sophie and Jake, two 11 year old friends who live in Oklahoma City. So far, Sophie's been having a pretty rough life. Bullied and hurt, she was already feeling fed up with life. She has her blue sharpie and her favourite yellow notebook which she doodles in, but no one seems to like the way she can create an amazing world with just a stroke of a pen. But at least she has that one friend, Jake. They were born in the same hospital, went to the same kindergarten, elementary and now in the same high school - only going separate ways. Jake was a more admired person, good with puzzles, good with figuring things out. Although it seems that they have nothing in common, they actually have several similarities. And one of them is about to change their lives. Original Story by FaustinaYick1 :) Inspired by Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Land of Stories by Chris Colfer, and Wonder by R.J. Palacio.

Outcasts

Two girls. At school they're total opposites. The cheer captain and the loaner geek. But at home, life isn't all as it's seems. And one teacher, and their relentless assignments, bring them closer together. *** "You missed me?" I ask as if it's such a shock because to me it is. I'm a nobody. "Hm." She hums with a nod, "I didn't really know how to ask you if you wanted to hang out again, and well, thanks to my fucked up life, here we are, I found an excuse." "You do realise you can just ask me?" I'm a hypocrite, I couldn't do it either. "I know, but honestly, you kind of intimidate me and I just kinda thought maybe just a small part of you thought it was just about the projects."
