The Life of Naomi Graham

Naomi Graham, a 15 year old girl who is overweight. Her mother recently died of obesity and Naomi promised her she wouldn't follow in her footsteps. Naomi suspects that her younger sister Tia has an eating disorder. Naomi is feeling depressed, hopeless, and discouraged. She feels even more discouraged by her callous foster mom. Naomi gets suicidal thoughts because of all the detrimental teasing she gets at school and sometimes at home because of her size. Naomi needs to discover who she is, how to deal with her diagnosis, and how to acknowledge and accept her feelings and new life.
