It is often said, that one should avoid the unknown, and thus steer clear of danger, of peril. What the world doesn't seem to realise though, is that danger and peril will find their ways, and seep into people's lives regardless of how safe they live, of how honest they are, of how true they can be. It is the unknown that prompts reason, and course for change. Light is the guidance we ask for, yet not many are willing enough to embrace it, when it does come floating into our lives. Yet we run, we hide, we laugh, and we turn away.. That is until death comes a knocking at our doors, or at the doors of those closest to us. Only then do we truly realise, the meaning, the strength, the need, and the power that comes from embracing what we are meant to be. You must be wondering who I am, and what of this tale that I am professing to tell you. Whether or not it's worth hearing more, and why. The answer is simple. You need to. You may not want to, you may think that this is all just that, a tale. However, there will be those, who will feel as though they must carry on, with this tragic yet beautiful tale, because of what they feel. Dear reader, you will see yourself in the tale I will tell, whether it is at the beginning, the middle, or the end. You will recognise yourself because you want to. The lessons of this story, the truth behind its truth will call out to you. It will pulse in your veins, and you will ache to know, to feel, and to see because this story, dear reader, this tale, is not only mine, even though it may be mine to share- it is your tale too. This is your story as much as it is mine. So let me. Let me take you on a journey that you won't forget. Let me pull you into a world of enchantment, of sacrifice, darkness, blood, and light. Let me show you the destiny that the light brings, and all it will bring with it. Let me show you who I am, in order for you to find yourself in this story. My name is Lysa. Lysa Blackwood. This is my Tale.

In a world dominated by werewolves, Odette leads a simple, human life until what was supposed to be the best day of her life, her wedding day, takes a nightmarish turn. Luca, a powerful world-leader and Alpha, claims her as his mate, which forces her into a desperate fight for her freedom. Now on the run, Odette encounters challenges that will test her wit and strength. Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."
