You go to a museum, you see art, pictures and things you just cant seem to understand. You go there to stare, and that is exactly what 26 year old Danielle does to pass the time. She loved art, could paint and sketch but her real passion was writing. Sitting by her desk that overlooked the city with her typewriter, journals and a pencil she had decorated with bite marks. She and her bestfriend, Paige, were dreamers that went to New York to widen their oppurtunities. Paige was a painter and sculptor, and was good at what she did.

In fact, the very museum Danielle was venturing was displaying some of Paige's works. This is how Danielle found herself in a museum staring at a painting that hung on a wall. She was stuck in a rut with her publisher and had went out to 'clear her mind'. What she had not expected to happen that day was meeting the very person that had been her other reason for going to the big apple. A certain person who had very distinct eyebrows.

If only it was an Illusion! by Aafrynn

"you're no one to me", his words echoed in my ears but what was it all when he kissed me; merely an illusion? It felt so real and lively. "...and just so you know, you're not allowed to leave this job until or before 6 months", he flung the contract papers in the air. I had signed the papers, the terms and conditions clearly meant that I was supposed to work for his company and had no right to leave it until his consent. "Leave my cabin for now", he ordered as he turned behind. ********** Amanda Waters is your typical College student who happens to face a lot of financial difficulties and as a result, is made to earn a living. She's blunt, She's sensitive but she is also accompanied by two of her best friends in this story: Gina Sullivan and Francis Rutherfold. The enterprise which she works in is different, very different. In fact, the 'CEO' is not just another Happy go lucky male lead of the company. Aaron Reynolds- Rude, Arrogant, Harsh, and Stubborn. He's what they call an eccedentesiast. They say that a person who defines negative adjectives has a lot more inside them, the darkness in that person may overrule all the Positiveness. Well, with Aaron, it's hard to say. But...What if Amanda already had a face-off with 'The CEO' before working in his firm? What if she had already drawn a thick line of hate? What if egos of the same level collide? What then? True Love? More like an illusion! An illusion that poses a life threat. An illusion with the ability to make you believe in non-existent things such as; fairies, demons, fate, and even destiny! Ironic is it not? What we as humans happen to rely on.
The Story Of Tonight by lexlawrence

In the fall after her high school graduation, Danielle Davis has been spending her days lying alone in her shared New York City apartment. Attempting to fill the ticking time, she fills her moments painting empty canvases and ignoring her roommate as much as she possibly can without her actually noticing. But she can only go so long without seeing her, and at their once a month lunch date her roommate brings along a guest. Maren. Excerpt: She was paler than I first remember her, wearing clothes three times larger than her own frame, little effort put into her outfit compared to the first time I met her. She looked confused too for a second, and then she leaned down to pull her sandals off, making herself comfortable in someone else's home. Maren didn't seem like the kind of girl to spontaneously show up at someone's house, maybe I had misjudged her. "Beth's not here." My face remained blank while we made eye contact, she stood up, her natural height just a little taller than my own. Her gaze settled on me, her eyebrows were slightly furrowed. Head to toe, and back again her eyes flickered. She didn't answer my statement. "I didn't think you'd be here." "I live here." I deadpan, she's leaning against the door now, pulling her phone out of her pocket. "I know." *** This is my NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) project for this year! This is a raw, unfinished first draft of a story I've cooked up to keep me warm in the winter. Don't be surprised if there's incomplete sentences, memory problems, and forgotten moments. Writing a first draft is about getting the words on the paper and moving on. Editing will begin after I've finished the novel. Hmu writing buddies. ;)

Muse

25 parts Complete

All Lovely Bates expected was a quiet outing in the park. Perhaps a little bird watching or an afternoon spent outdoors with her journal. But as the day comes to an end, an annoying and aggravatingly attractive college student butts into her personal bubble, making a proposition and asking a very strange request. To be his "muse". And as this strange and slightly enchanting young man bursts into her life in an explosion of color and psychedelic emotions, she realizes that sometimes you need to throw on a smock and get your hands a little dirty. Or you might just miss out on the love story of a lifetime (Currently editing so prepare to undergo some changes) #38 in #muse
