Many decades in the future, the world has been split into two sections- the barren wasteland of the earth's surface, and its utopian counterpart, an artificial landscape built upon the ruins of planet Earth- Aboveground. The better off half of the population is now living in a virtual utopia, and are each a part of a grid of houses, glass buildings, and bullet trains. This story showcases the life of a regular suburban teenager from Aboveground, her relationships, and her unusual fascination with the past- and Earth's barren surface.

Whoever came up with the idea was drunk, stoned, tripping or insane. Maybe even all four.
