The rosewood trees were in full bloom upon the crescent field of my own childhood. Yet, upon looking back on my life I remember the summer when those rosewood trees were more fragrant than ever. The summer that Allison disappeared and the madness of the late 70s spiraled about me and drew me from my own childhood innocence into a story that I will never forget.
