(#Wattys2015) Chance at Hand - A Game of Fate

In a tavern a few leagues from the crossroads at the corner of London, Henry chances upon it, starved after resting in an inn providing coin and clothes, after a groggy mix of unfortunate events and heartbreak.

The Dealer is a dangerous Chancer, but when he set eye onto Henry, a split of magic is all he needed to persuade Henry to play the Game. Little does Henry know that this man is not one to play freely, and soon, the clutches of the Game has Henry the lone Chancer within its trap.

"Chance at Hand - A Game of Fate" is simply set within the 1930's, when the first World War had passed by, and Henry was still a young man. It is a story I devised from after watching my YouTubers play "Hand of Fate" and reading "The Master of Misrule" (2nd in a series by Laura Powell called "The Game of Triumphs"), adding a mix of the 'seven elements' in the Game played by the Dealer, an ancient being bringing the Game to life to their' helpless players.
