Meet Shawn Bentley, a girl who is wild and free with a reputation for being out there crazy. This is one lost soul, the only thing she's sure about in her photography. Shawn never really was one to plan ahead. She is perfectly fine living in the moment and letting life run it's course.
Meet Elijah Grey, a guy who's lost hope, has five months to live and has given up on life. He went from having his whole future planned to having five months before he was a corpse. Anyone can imagine he's not a happy person. With his death getting closer he pushes everyone away.
When these two meet because of a messed up photo, their worlds are turned upside. Shawn is persistent on getting to know the guy with the sad eyes. Elijah tries his best to keep her away but her stubborn, sarcastic and laid back personality grows on him.
As they change each others outlook on love and the future, Shawn finally understands the words in love songs and Elijah has a reason to want to live.
In five months they've created a thousand memories, and have something worth more than a thousand words. As Elijah's time comes to an end and Shawn finds out about his illness, will she stay by his side? Or will she run away?
