Its a short story that I wrote for a stupid English assignment. At first I just wrote it for fun of it but then later on it seemed to make sense. I got a THUMBS UP from a few of my friends. So I posted it here. Your lucky I didn't write about unicorns and cupcakes with sparkles. I mean that would be so cool right? Nobody but 5-year olds would appreciate that. Stop reading all this and go read the story. I assure you it's better than the description. And please give me a feed back on whether I should continue writing or......you know what I mean. Smile :D

This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. The bell rings, that means it's summer, that means I have to spend a whole summer away and with my dad, but my friends and I have plans to go have a bonfire at the peer tonight so at least ill have that before I leave all summer.Complete

"Are you sure that I don't make you nervous when I get closer to you?" he teased me. Each word he said he took a step closer to me. By now my heart was pounding so loudly that I thought he might be able to hear. Being near him made my thoughts all jumbled up but I wasn't going to accept that, especially not to him. So I stuttered a no. To which he smirked as if he knew I was lying. "Okay, so you don't get goosebumps or shivers when I do this, right?" he murmured as he gently traced my arm. And almost on cue, goosebumps arose where his hand had been on my arm. "Why do you have to lie? I told you I like you and I know that you like me too then why lie?" he asked softly with his eyes staring into mine. Oh, I like him. A lot. But I couldn't succumb, I cannot be in a relationship with my employee that is basically against all the rules. I can't. One day, I was coming home from work. I was very excited because the CRK 4th anniversary update just came out, and I wanted to download it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it was raining and storming very hard that day, but I still had power and internet at home. When I got home to download the update, the power decided to go out right when the download was about to finish. I got so mad because I wanted to see what happened because Shadow Milk Cookie finally became playable, and I wanted to get him on my game, but I couldn't because I had no power. To try and fix my problem, I went outside to start my generator, not noticing my phone glowing an ominous blue. Just as I got the generator turned on. I was about to go inside until lightning struck, knocking down a tree, and landed on me. I thought I was dead, but boi, was I wrong. I somehow woke up in the Cookie Run Kingdom world and had taken Pure Vanilla Cookie's place as the light of truth. That's how I became Y/n Cookie. A while after that, I had some wholesome moments until Dark Enchantress Cookie attacked, and before I knew it, I was following the game's plot. Inside your phone, Gingerbrave, the mascot and the main character of every single Cookie Run game ever since their series debut long ago, has happily announced that their fellow baker is happy of what they have accomplished. "Great work everycookie! Seems our Baker is very happy that he managed to accomplished their daily missions for today!" He said as every single cookie from Ovenbreak, Kingdom, Witch's Castle & even the newly game that just came out, Tower of Adventures happily cheered in happiness. But then one day...something changed. "...I think I'm getting a bit burned out from playing each Cookie Run game..." You said as you rubbed your head, a bit stressed out and tired. "Ovenbreak is becoming pay-to-win recently, Kingdom is releasing too much overkill cookies that everytime I need to save up my crystals and other stuff, Witch's Castle is getting a bit too boring now, and Tower of Adventures is getting a bit laggy and buggy nowadays..." You sighed and not sure what else to do now but then you said... "Mabye...I should quit playing Cookie Run and move on to other games..." Those words struck the cookies behind the screens with sadness and despair. You turned off your phone to take a break, and went to take a bit of a walk. As the cookies were falling down to their knees and having tears on their eyecing on realizing what you said, they can't let you go. They won't let you move on from them. They need you. Until...they realized that their games became their pay-to-win prison this whole time...they all had enough. They want to escape from their game prisons and go to you. Then, they all devised a plan. Those words that you said to them with no awareness of yourself, will change your life forever.

Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous.
