On May 2, 1536, Anne Boleyn's world collapses when she is arrested for treason, adultery, and witchcraft. Charles Brandon escorts her to the Tower of London on King Henry VIII's orders. This follows Anne's falling out with Thomas Cromwell over religious reforms. Despite her imminent execution, Anne miraculously gives birth to the king's long-awaited son just hours before her death.
