He gave me the box and I opened it. I was in awe. Even in the darkness of the closet, I could still make out the outline of the necklace and the dolphin pendant. He also got it in my favorite color. Purple. He knew me so well.
I knew then and there that I was in love with him. He knew me so well. He does all of this just to make me happy.
I was in love with Howard.
