Flickering feelings

"Suddenly he took his hands to my throat. Shocking me. My body panicked and I moved my hands on top of his, trying to push them away, but I'm to weak. I kicked with my legs, trying to get away but he just laughed, a diabolical laugh that I know would be burned in my mind forever. I started to go numb as I finally gave up. I felt how the life inside of me disappeared with the air I couldn't breath. It started to get dark and I closed my eyes, the last thing I heard was his laugh getting louder and the smell of alcohol burning my nose."
