Hopes a young 18 year old who lives in Compton. She's been struggling ever since. It hits her hard when her parents die in fatal car crash and her 13 year old sister Skai and 19 year old brother King have to separate.
Instead of her having to speak at a New Orleans orphanage called Mrs. D's House she ends up having to stay. She meets August, and his girlfriend Reena and she's not to happy about them at first.
She also meets Tanya who sorta went through the same.
They become the best of friends and Hope and August become close too.
There so many secrets behind the orphanage's doors..
