After an angry storm destroyed a British trade ship at sea, deckhand Axel Andrews, cabin boy Thomas Cobb, and Captain George Thornbury are stranded on a desert island, being the only survivors of the shipwreck. At first, the three sailors are convinced that they'd be on the island forever, with no chance of help coming. That is until another ship mysteriously arrives on shore. But this ship isn't British. It's a pirate ship.

Lillian Octavia Hart, nicknamed the Queen of the Sea, is one of the most well-known pirates in the seven seas, infamous for her skill and quick wit. With her magnificent ship, the Rouge Wave, and her trusty crew, she's sure that she can conquer anything. However, disaster lurks right around the corner when someone begins planning a mutiny, and decides to use the new additions to the crew to her advantage...

HISTORICAL ROMANCE - ADULT CONTENT Ella Fitzpatrick is a beautiful young lady from a wealthy family. Her mother high and well respected in social circles. Her father the best doctor money could buy. Most women her age are already married with children, however, these marriages are often loveless and arranged to benefit social status. Ella wants to marry for love and she certainly doesn't love Andrew Shapel, the most recent gentleman of high standing to propose to her, much to the approval of her matriarchal aunt who is convinced she has found Ella the best husband in high society. Unfortunately she has sent her to her doom. Andrew may be devilishly handsome and charming on the outside but on the inside he harbours a darkness no one would suspect. She is left for dead on a pirate ship! Falling in and out of consciousness as she is dragged to the brig and left in the darkness with nothing but the painfully vivid recollection of how she got there as company. With the crew calling for her to be thrown overboard and saying a woman on board is a curse, she realises that she is at the mercy of the captain, who doesn't take kindly to stowaways on his ship. She is petrified and prepared to die but little does she know that from the very first moment Captain Thomas Tyler lays eyes on her he finally believed in love at first sight. Placing her under his protection, his anger directed towards those who used his ship as a way to dispose of their crimes. He promises to return her to her family and hopes in time that the memories that haunt her soul will fade. One thing he wasn't prepared for, protecting her from himself. A lady and a pirate is absurd! (NB) Written using modern day colloquialisms intermingled with historical essence. "Not all treasure's silver and gold mate." ~ During the 17th Century, the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea are nothing more than a vast playground for mystery and adventure. For Milah the town of Port Royal is a world far away from the excitement of the high seas and she very much wishes to keep it that way. However the fates deny her this peace as Jack Sparrow, a roguish yet charming pirate captain, ruins it all. The infamous and cursed pirates of the Black Pearl have attacked the town, taking Elizabeth Swann, the beautiful governor's daughter, with them. Now Milah finds that she must place trust in a pirate she barely knows and her best friend, Will Turner, to save miss Swann before it's too late. On the journey however she has no choice but to confront and remember her past, one that she has left behind for so long and would much rather keep locked up in the depths of the sea. Can Milah keep her darkest secret hidden or will her past finally catch up to her?
