17 year old Libby has a life similar to Cinderella's. Except this isn't a fairy tail. There may be a stepmother but there is no step sisters, no fairy god mother, and defiantly no prince. All though that is all Libby wants. To escape her house and find true love. But when two boys enter her life will it be love that she gets or just an awful heartbreak?

It was a bright, summer day. Mr. and Mrs. Evans were both in the hospital, ready to give birth. But they were really scared. It's their first child so Mrs. Evans was really afraid of how it might go. "It's okay, honey. It'll be okay." Mr. Evans tried to reassure his wife, stroking her head soothingly. "But what if the baby comes upside down? What if there's something wrong with her? What if it hurts?" She asked questions so quickly that Mr. Evans doesn't even have time to answer any of them. "The baby will be fine. Don't worry. It won't hurt as well. It'll be over before you even know it." But no matter what he said, she was shaking with fear and panic. The doctor came towards them. "Do we have a name for her?" She asks as they wait for a contraction. Mr. Evans looked between the doctor and his wife before answering, "Actually, we haven't-" "Hope" Mrs. Evans looked up at him, smiling. saving hope it is about a girl who goes through a number imaginable things. She dealt with the loss of her father and the remarriage she had to go through with an abusive stepfather who drank too much, she had to suffer from anxiety, depression, and ptsd. At first it was a project in middle school that me and four other friends decided to do because we all loved writing and we were learning about the world and all the mess that it was we were learning about all the bad before we got to the good. And we wanted to write about it. I had gotten abused and wrote the main thing happening in the beginning. But as I was writing over the years it took a change. I experienced loss and abuse and I felt like the whole world was crumbling around me and my mind was telling me I was alone. I started to write my story tweaked enough to where no one could tell. I put in things that wouldn't happen in real life but made a good story but the base of it was me. It doesn't have a happy ending but it has a meaning to me. I call it my brain vomit and my novel baby. It isn't perfect but neither am I.
