Jade is gay. She's known since she was twelve. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of coming out right then. Immediately she was hit with harsh words and was brushed off as some confused kid. Now she's almost sixteen, and has a loving girlfriend. She knows who she is. Sadly, nobody else does. Her coming out was treated as nothing, and her parents talked dreamily about how nice some boy was. Her girlfriend is a secret. Her sexuality is a secret. Her life is a lie. What happens when she tries to come out a second time? Maybe it will be different, maybe she'll do it in a more official way. Maybe she'll be able to stop lying.
