Rose Matthews has had a hard life. She is abused and doesn't have many friends. After the most downward spiral of her life, she is paired with her life-long crush Nicholas Myers. Before she knows it her life just got complicated. Again.

Nicholas Myers has everything. Big house, rich parents, is popular, attractive. What more could you want? One thing. Rose Matthews. Smart and pretty, Nick has liked her ever since they were kids. The only thing is, she doesn't exactly... fit in. When Nick is paired with her for an assignment, he's hoping to be able to act cool and not let Rose know he likes her, or his life will get complicated. And he doesn't want to drag her into that.
