A man with sunglasses and fitted cap jogged towards me and he pretended to accidentally bumped into me.
"Oh, so sorry! Didn’t see you there," He smirked.
I can't see his eyes and his hat cast a shadow on half of his face but boy, I recognize that cocky smirk.
"Hi, Liam and that’s very bad acting. I thought you received the best actor award last year,” I commented, unsure of what to say.
I'm not ready to speak to him after our conversation from last night. I kept my eyes at Corky and tried to think of an excuse to leave.
"What brings you here? I don’t think you live here,” I asked, I guess that’s better than commenting about the weather.
"I’m just working out. You know where I live?” he asked and looked at me surprised.
“I googled… So what did you come here for?” I decided to cut the crap.
"I hope you've been thinking about my offer. Think about it it's a win win situation," he said and my heart sank immediately. So that's why he came, to put pressure on me and to persuade me to say yes.
"Yeah, I'll think about it. It's getting late, got to go, “I said coldly.
