I make sure my mom is alive.
I'm drowning in life and when he shows up nothing gets better. To add to everything I am confused.

-Let's get this straight. From a dead end job to a useless crazy ex boyfriend- my happiness is with my best friend yet the fear of our relationship ending completely scares me and id rather fake it and be in fear than find out and never be happy. It sucks, seeing him everyday and knowing what i feel for him and how deep those feelings go is painful...- But when he comes around everything changes for the best and for the worst. No one notices. No one cares. No one asks. ... I'm just a normal girl. School is getting on my nerves most of the time, but that's normal. I don't have a lot of friends like everyone else. I guess I'm living a life like everyone else. Everone else also thinks that. They think im a normal girl living a normal life having friends and a great family. But in reality, I just try to survive. I try not to drown. I try not to lose the fight I have within myself. I fight every day. With myself and, more importantly, with the most important people in my life. The people who gave me everything, but it's still not enough for me. I want to get out of this. Apparently I'm also not enough for them. I mean why would they do so many things that hurt me if they would like me? I don't think that this can go on forever but I also don't know what to do about it. ... !Spoiler! The Way We Used to Be
I lost my mom at 11, that's when it started. My dad became a drunk and I was left to take care of my 3-month-old baby sister. Now I'm 23, graduated a few years ago and my sister, now 12, can understand what happened. She never fully understood when I needed someone to and I didn't have many friends that stuck around afterwards. Until I met him. We were friends first, then the feelings got deeper. He asked me to be his girlfriend. He was my first kiss, first date, first real friend, first love, everything. I loved him and I do. I've said it. Now all we do is fight. I don't know why we can't figure things out, but I can't take this fighting. I just want things to go back to the way things were. The way we used to be... Happy, carefree teens that pretended we had the whole world figured out.Complete

Sam: I was raised the way that teaches you to be selfless. That's what I was doing my whole life. Taking care of my little brother when my parents couldn't or didn't want to, helping with chores, working, doing my best at school so I don't embarrass my family name, following my father's dreams and mothers expectations. Everything for them, to satisfy them, to please them. No one was ever satisfied with me though, I'm never good enough for no one. So as usual I bought a drink to reward myself for a once again perfect score on the exam. One drink turns into five and I find myself following some guy with pretty eyes. What I didn't know is that next time we meet I'm not going to be the one drunk and it's not going to be the last time I see him either. Quite the opposite, he'll manage to turn my life upside down, ruining it completely, and only the end of the world will be able to fix all of it. Daryl: When I was younger I used to think I was born with a curse in my blood, but then I understood that life is just a bitch. From my mother's death to surviving under my father's thumb and then jumping under Merle's. Whole my life I stood neck deep in shit, be it bird shit, my own shit or my family's. Every day is a stupid fight to not drown in that pool of shit, and for years the only thing keeping me floating were drugs and alcohol. But then, this bloody sunshine dropped into my life. After all the years of violence and roughness I grew to crave him like a secret drug. His gentle touch, his unconditional love and care. As much as my scarred soul craves it, this thing between us is crossing all the lines and breaking all the rules I knew. So I drown in ecstasy and weed even more, trying to figure myself out, so lost in my own bullshit that I didn't notice that his perfect life isn't as good as he says it is, and when I finally open my eyes, he's gone. He's fucking gone, and world is too, or at least the way we knew it.Complete
