12 Zodiacs awaken. The beings they are in gain control of their power. The Zodiacs all want the same thing, the cosmic throne. Power over all the beings that exist, as the ultimate god. The 12 beings don't know what is happening til the voice speaks in their head.
1,000's of years ago, the zodiacs were all together. They were their own selves. They had nothing to hurt them, no problems to have them quaral. It wasn't until the lights of the universe started going out. Stars changing, Stars disappearing, and humans uprising. The great pyramids were built. Pharaohs lead people and strayed them from the will of the zodiacs. Their reign of years were changed to months. Then changed to days.
Six of the zodiacs wanted to make the humans bow. The other six wanted the humans to simply share their world. Ancient magic forced the zodiacs into the spirit world, cutting their power and ripping them from their bodies. Thus started the war of humans and vessels of the zodiacs.

Every fifteen years the Queen's protectors, a group of powerful warriors known as the Zodiacs, are replaced. Being a Zodiac doesn't just come with power and responsibility, it is also fame and fortune. As the current Generation of Zodiacs approach their thirteenth year of service, it is time for the Queen to select a new Generation to begin their training. Now enter The Class: a group of thirteen mismatched troublesome high-schoolers who definitely wouldn't be anyone's first pick to defend the Queen. There is a celebration done on a yearly basis where all the kings and queens of all four kingdoms gather around and have fun to keep the peace between the kingdoms. But for the first time, they decided to invite the princes and princesses as well. And that was the time things took a horrifying turn.
