I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear his wheels against the tile. ---- Kacey Metter leads an average life- average grades, average friends, average family. She's a shoo-in for senior class president and the literary magazine she started is sure to boost her chances to a scholarship at a good university. But then her life is turned upside down when she meets Arthur, a boy who was paralyzed from the waist down when he was six years old. And while that injury still effects him in the present, he doesn't let it define him. His courage and personality inspire Kacey and the two become friends, and maybe more? This story is one of epic proportions, involving love, insult to injury, and main characters that'll have you handicapped from the laughter and tears.
