Charlotte always knew she was different from her classmates. She seemed like your average girl with ADHD and Dyslexia, and while that did make her different, that wasn't why she felt it. She always felt like she was being followed, she'd look out her window and could've sworn she saw an old creepy lady looking into her soul. Then one day, on the way home from school, driving on an empty countryside road, Char and her father are attacked by what seemed to be a bat with the body of a human. Her dad always said one day she'd have to leave, and when they were attacked her father turned around and took her straight to Camp Half-Blood.
