Every one hundred years, a faerie is born. Her task? To create a hero. But when smaller than average Lil is brought to Conrad , she has every reason to refuse doing her duty. He's weak, small, and a poor human with no proper training. In her eyes, he can never amount to anything. Having no say in the matter though, she begrudgingly agrees to help him. Along the way, Lil and Conrad start to realize -whether reluctantly or not- that they need each other not only to fulfill a God given destiny, but their own.
