'If you can dream it, you can do it. Remember that this whole thing started with a dream and a mouse.' That's how all of Disney began: with a dream and a mouse. Or did it really? Soon, the characters we know so well find out how to escape from their world into a new one: our own. There, they will cause trouble and maybe even evil. Maybe even so much that they become evil. And within evil lies a whole new story to be told. However, Walt Disney made these characters as good as they are for a reason. Or maybe that was only a cover up for what his big project was. Dreams don't always stay true. They may have been pure once, but don't let that deceive you, for your brightest dreams can turn into the darkest nightmares imaginable.

Dreams. Everyone has them. For Scott, dreams meant freedom. Dreams meant escape. Dreams meant he could see. For Mitch, dreams weren’t dreams at all. Dreams were nightmares, dark and dangerous. For Scott, dreams were an escape. An escape from a life in which everyone pities him. Because in real life, Scott couldn’t see a thing. It was an accident, when he was a senior in high school. One year ago. An accident that left him blind and alone. Until Mitch. For Mitch, nothing was an escape. Dreams meant nightmares and real life meant Travis. And Travis meant pain. For Mitch, nothing was an escape. Until Scott. Scott, the blind boy who he’d agreed to help out because he needed the community service. Scott, the blind boy who was the only one who saw the world his way. Scott hadn’t wanted to be the charity case. But he needed the help, only being blind a year. So he let Mitch become his helper. And Mitch was a better helper than he could have hoped. It was weird, how gifts worked.
