Saving Rylee

Rylee Jones was an average teenager, with a less than average family life. She had no true friends, and the only one who cared about her was her older brother. So, with the intention of escaping it all and gaining freedom, days after her sixteenth birthday she ran away. Months later she reappears, a completely changed person. She's more reserved, and doesn't trust anybody at all. Her parents have a excrutiatingly tight grip on her, determined not to ever let her have freedom again. At school, it's not hard to notice the judgemental glares of her peers, or the whispered rumors of what happened to her when she left. She hates everyone, and nobody has given her a reason to feel otherwise. That is, until Rylee meets Triston, the quiet boy that has a knack for being trustworthy. He's your typical good boy; the one that keeps to himself, the one that everybody knows and loves. Can Triston break down the walls that Rylee so carefully put up? Will he be able to gain her trust?
