Cleo Valentine had the best relationship with her cousin, Beca Mitchell. The two inseparable, until tragic life events happen, leaving Cleo alone with no one by her side, and a deep depression hovering over her.
Several years pass, and a quick trip down the street of the dorm changes Cleo's college pathway. She finds herself becoming a Barden Bella as a Freshman at Barden University. The past desperately clings onto both Cleo and Beca as they try to rekindle the relationship they both had with each other. Now Cleo can't decide which one is more difficult: being a Bella, or being a Bella with the one who used to be her best friend?
