That tale has been told many times. But have you ever considered the fact that maybe Persephone wasn't the only goddess that was chased relentlessly? Not that I have anything against Persephone. In fact, we're best friends, along with Hera. But I just wish that people knew my story too.
I'm Adrianna Somers. I'm a descendant of Zeus, and this is my first year at Mythix Academy.

This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him? Things to note about this story is that since I'm writing about real historical mythology, there is of course many, many, different variations, retellings and plots in existence for each one of the myths so I will do my best to comment on and add in variations when necessary, though in some cases I may just stick with the most common, my favorite or the most historically accurate depictions! "If this is just the original myths can't I just go on Theoi?"
