The first thing I saw was a woman with dark stains on her dress and dagger. When I saw my dad lying on the ground in a pool of blood, I knew what the dark stains were. I backed away, my hands shaking as I stared at my dad's murderer with fear filled eyes. I hadn't even noticed the other man standing behind her, until one of them grabbed my sister and asked her what her level of magic was. When she replied with 'infinitive', I became completely confused. I knew my sister didn't have infinitive magic, and my confusion increased even more when I saw the sad look she gave me right before disappearing from her place with teleportation magic. I looked at the remains of my destroyed family that now only consisted of my mother and my brother, who seemed to be hiding behind the staircase like he always did when he was scared or upset.

Luna My pack didn't know me as anyone strong or special. I happened to be the girl that couldn't shift. Probably an omega in their eyes. The alpha noticed me. She kept noticing me and I wished she wouldn't. The pull was strong. I hoped it wasn't what I thought it was. I believed in having a mate. I just didn't think I'd find her, much less be ready for her when she arrived. I rejected her. It was the only way not to tear myself apart. Day after day, I noticed she was tearing apart. Weaker. Tired. I didn't want to care. Not one bit until she confronted me. Inches apart from me. My mate was in front of me... I had to give it a chance. I tried and succeeded. It was the first time I was able to shift. My mother never told me of our roots. The second I shifted, I was huge. A blood-born. Strongest of the strong.
