"Harry, I just can't do this anymore. I can't...I keep thinking...I don't know. That something is going to go wrong. That you won't love me anymore like you do. That you'll just be gone and I'll be all alone and--"

"Shh, Hayden. You can't think about things like that. I'll never leave you."

Hayden O'Brian is spiraling into a pit of her own depression when her mother dies over the summer. Not even her friends can pull her out, or her crazy sister who's numb to everyone's pain besides Hayden.

Hayden lives in a world all her own, where she talks to no one, doesn't socialize with anyone, and basically her best friend has become her iPod. That is until she meets Harry Styles at her local bakery when she's looking for a job. Harry seems to be the only one who can get through to Hayden and he quickly becomes her friend.

After a month or two, spark begin to fly Hayden and Harry. But Hayden is terrified about being left again and losing everything like when her mom died. So she begins to pull away from Harry. The question is, will Harry accept that Hayden just needs space? Or does Harry need Hayden as much as Hayden needs Harry? And why?
