An apocalypse is among us and the world is falling apart at the seams, however this isn't zombies. The year is 3068, the idea of a Mechanical city that can shield the world from all dangers is at last a reality. Utopia was a world where humans would be safe from everything. Things in Utopia were designed to be perfect, but they didn't go as planned. As the entire human race was pulled into its walls something went wrong with the center power core. The machines molded into killers, destroying Utopia and everything it was promised to be. The people begged the Utopian government to resolve the problem, but instead they fled to pre-made shelters and sent soldiers to control the rebellious, fearful citizens. The empire of safety became known as the Mechanical Hell, but was shortened to a simpler name: Mech. Can the rebellion free the struggling human race from the evils of their gigantic steel prison? "Last night, I had a dream the world ended. Half the population disappeared, and unfathomable eldritch beasts shambled out of an unending darkness." In a world with no sun and bloodthirsty creatures roaming the all consuming dark, the only places still safe are the small compounds that managed to get walls up before all came crashing down. Now, life is simple. Stay inside the walls, and you'll stay alive. It's not relatively easy anymore, though. With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole. As the duo begin to pull on the thread and tangle themselves slowly into its snare, they begin to realize there's a lot more to this apocalypse than they ever could have imagined, and that the horrific beasts they've been studying might be the least of their concerns...Complete

This story takes place on Earth in the 2040's. Is based on fiction and apocalyptic genre. The protagonist was the last environmentalist and his services were requested by the government. Rebecca, his lover, traveled in time for multiple occasions trying to find a solution to save humankind and the planet from severe contamination. Once, she saw his lover dying in the future for rejecting a direct order from the government. Rebecca Alingston decides to forcefully transform Dillon into a super robot which will be known as H.O.P.E. As part of her plan, Hope will save humankind and Earth, then later in the future will save her. After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity. In his journey he finds a friend, Evans an optimist person who will literally change his life forever.Complete
