Remilia Micheals was a girl who went missing in the small town of Etheridge County. After four long years of no word she suddenly returns, no longer the sweet fourteen year old girl her family had known and loved, but a dysfunctional and emotionally disturbed seventeen year old. Now back home Remilia under goes vigorous amounts of therapy to hopefully help her open up about what happened to her four years ago . When the sessions seem to be going nowhere her family grow weary and are about to discontinue the visits until the arrival of a young therapist named Nigel McBurrow.
Nigel McBurrow is a man who has dealt with a lot back in L.A. where he was a very sought after celebrity therapist.He has heard plenty of things from rich housewives and celebs that want to vent, but nothing prepares him for Remilia. He steps into the office and finds a young woman looking at him with the saddest eyes. Nigel is instantly intrigued by the girl and to his surprise she was his new patient. In their first session Remilia fascinates him with her empty blue eyes and aimless conversation.
Remilia soon becomes very dependent on Nigel and forms a relationship with him that is both strange yet beautiful, but can Nigel put his own demons to rest so he can help Remilia to confront her dreadful and mysterious past and heal her internal wounds?
