Claire has always felt a little different compared to other girls. Sure she dressed like them and did her hair and makeup like them but she wasn't completely the same. When other girls were talking about boys Claire was thinking about Demi Lovato or Miley Cyrus, but Claire wasn't gay. She was just appreciating women.

Claire tried to go out with boys but they never worked out, but when new girl Stef shows up as an out of the closet lesbian Claire might begin to second guess who she is, but only time can tell whether or not it's the real deal or just all in her head.

Oli is Claire's best friend and has been the only one out of the closet at their high school. He was bisexual, but he had only been with girls because there aren't any guys interested, or at least that's what Oli thought until his new, young, gay teacher Connor shows up and stirs some stuff up in his life. Even if it wasn't right, Oli doesn't care because he was ready to be with someone who was mature and was a man. The only problem is that Connor's past comes back to end what they have, but will Oli survive this.
