not knowing where her father went, at a very young age merida grew up knowing every single rule and tip of being the best princess she can be.
jackson overland, grew up knowing everything about king fergus. he trained day and night sword fighting until his seventeenth birthday, the day king fergus had died and the day jack was cursed.
although king fergus had died, jack stayed in the castle looking out for merida. it only took one hour to get lost in the woods, a missing staff, a missing bow and frost trails for merida to learn about jack's past and her father.
