A strange girl, a graduate of the Death Weapon Meister Academy, from over fifty years ago, returns to school as a teacher. Her class is strange because she teaches the students about Soul Reapers and Hollows. She's kind of cruel as she forces the students into life or death situations to help increase their spirit energy. Will Maka and the other students be able to survive her rigorous training?

Asura, the Kishin has awakened and wants to feed on powerful human souls. Gabrielle, Excalibur, Maka, Soul, Death the Kid, Liz, Patty, Black Star, Tsubaki, Akane and Clay follow it to Japan where they meet Keisuke and Yoruichi as well as Ichigo, Yukia, Orihime, Uryu, and Chad. What  does Asura want to do in Karakura Town and wjhat does the Soul Society have to do with it?
