With a widowed mother who could craft a simple piece of iron into a dangerous weapon, and a younger sister skilled at many trades, Fiarah felt empty, not knowing where to belong. Having no fierce skills, or desire to follow her mothers trade, Fi longs to discover what destiny the Soulmother gave her is. When a mysterious dream with a large set of eyes and a cracking egg sets her mind on edge, Fiarah goes to the Oracles, searching for answers. Turning out to be much more than a dream, Fi begins a quest to find the hatching creature from her sleep. Can she find this monster before it's dangerous captor takes it away forever?
