"Just admit it Cal, it's simple. You're in love with Carter Eames."

Callie Hunter is a hopeless romantic; although she lacks that romantic aspect in her life, leaving her thinking she's hopeless when it comes to love. Whether it's her best friend, Maci, trying to set her up with the help of her boyfriend, Jaxson, or a casual bump in with a cutie in school, Callie leaves high school single and never-been-kissed.

She isn't unattractive by any means-if anything, according to her best friend, she's the type of girl any normal guy would be lucky to have. Callie strays from the busty blonde bimbo stereotypes as she has brains to match her beauty.

She also tends to stray from social media which she sees as pointless feeds of girls who think they are better than everyone else or drama easily avoidable by stepping away from a screen. Snapchat, though, opens her eyes to a boy she has more in common with than she could have thought--starting with the fact that he's friends with her best friends.

Enter Carter Eames; the infamous football quarterback during his high school years, now grown into a hardworking college student. Also Jaxson's neighbor. He has always recognized the fact that girls found him attractive, especially with the intense fitness training he had become accustomed to at a young age, but he had yet to find a girl to settle down with that saw past his charming exterior.
